Hi, I’m Andrea Marie Larsen! I’m a visual artist based in Edmonton and a proud graduate of the University of Alberta, where I earned my Art and Design degree with distinction in 2022. My work focuses on portraiture, figurative art, and self-expression through pastel, mixed media, and oil painting.

As a wife and mother, I draw from my personal experiences to explore themes of domesticity, gender roles, and the emotional weight women carry in the 21st century. My art reflects feelings of frustration, exhaustion, and resilience, challenging outdated expectations while envisioning a better future for my daughter and others like her.

Through vibrant collages and intimate self-portraits, I aim to shed light on these struggles and inspire conversations about the roles women play in our modern world.
